Meet the Cast
Keith
Behrendt (Franklin Elsworth Van Gundy III) is making his debut on the Dover
Players’ stage. He is a worship leader at Ascension Lutheran Church in North Olmsted as well as working two
jobs, as a Systems Engineer and as an Instructor at Tri-C. Keith enjoys singing and dancing and has found
the challenge of a live show thrilling. He would like to thank the director for welcoming and leading him.
Keith hopes to be involved with other performances in the future.
Adam
Campbell (Bud Dudley) is appearing in his seventh play with
Dover Players. He performed in such shows as Footloose (as Reverend Shaw), Thoroughly
Modern Millie (as Jimmy Smith) and The Untold Casefiles of Sherlock Holmes (as Owen
Mortimer). Adam is a senior at Cleveland State University with a double major in Middle Childhood Education
and Theater.
Jeff
Campbell (Director / Spud Dudley) is making his third collaboration with
Dover Players. The original intent was to just “Direct the Play”, but as MAMA would say, “The show MUST go
on”, so he took on the role as Spud, Bud’s (much) older brother. Bud is played by Adam Campbell, Jeff’s son.
They last worked together in Fresh Start at the Sunrise Laundromat, and on stage in OPA’s 2006
production of West Side Story. In his youth, Jeff was in The Music Man, Guys and Dolls,
and
a number
of other plays. He is presently the Rehab Technology Manager for Hastings Professional Medical Equipment and
is the Scoutmaster for Troop 664 and the committee chair for “All Scouts Weekend”. Jeff is extremely
appreciative of his wife’s (Liz) understanding for his little mid-life crisis play production.
Lynn Galicki
(Margaret Stickler) started out as a Lily
Doran
Dancer at the age of five. She has performed at
Disneyland,
|
and as a
Moonlight
|
Honey
|
in
|
the
|
cast
|
of

|
at
Playhouse Square
|
as

Florida.
She is currently involved with several community theaters in the Cleveland area. Lynn would like to thank
Bill Royse, Jeff Campbell, Josh Landis, and the outstanding cast of Eubank for making this such a
fun
and
enjoyable run, and Linda and Jan for their costuming expertise.
Bill
Graham (J.C. Paddington) is glad to be back acting after a five
year break. His home theater is the Cassidy Theater in Parma. He promised his wife that he’d only do one
play a year. Hopefully she forgot this by now. Bill says he loves working with this great group of suckers
…. um, people. J
Mitra
Jahangiri (Paula Quartermain) is excited to début her talents with
the Dover Players. In the past she has appeared in the music video Sunny Monday by the local
Cleveland band, The Covert Operation. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics in
Kent State University. She would like to thank her sisters, Susan and Sudy, and her good friends for their
love and support.
Lisa
O’Halloran (Penny Wise) is making her debut on the Dover
Player’s stage. She was a former show choir geek in high school and college and is happy to be singing and
dancing again. Lisa is an occupational therapist for Cleveland Metropolitan Schools and
Cleveland Clinic Children’s Rehab in
Westlake. She would like to thank her family for their support and Jeff and the cast of Eubank for
this exciting opportunity.
Holly
Prather (Billie Nichols) has been singing her whole life, and
has had years of vocal training under Robert Becker with Baldwin Wallace College. In 2009, she started doing
her own shows simply titled “Holly,
Singing
Songs From The 20-40’s”, and now she sings them regularly at about 50 retirement communities, assisted
living facilities, and nursing. She recently branched out to become active in theatre with her first
performance last December in 1940’s Radio Christmas
Carol by the Strongsville Community Theater,
and most recently in Smoke Ring with the Dover Players. She loves to ride with her husband on their
motorcycles; enjoys traveling and camping with her daughter and step son, Alex, who is 12 years old and
visits them from England each summer.
Marilyn Ransom
(Clara) is making her seventh appearance with
the Dover Players. She appeared as an eccentric client in two Sherlock Holmes plays, an old witch in
Stories from the Witch House, the granny in Little Miss What's Her Name and with her husband
Bill as the foreign couple in A Fresh Start at the Sunrise Laundromat and as the sister-in-law
of Roger Ackroyd in The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. She and her husband Bill
love volunteering with the
Dover Players and attending classes at CSU.
Charlie Smith (Harold
Draw) is a
junior at North Olmsted High School and has appeared in grade school plays as part of the ensemble, but in
Eubank he takes on his first speaking role. He has appeared in the recent film, Kings of
Summers. Charlie also enjoys working behind the camera as cinematographer and film editor of videos
produced with friends and family. He would like to thank his wonderful father for coaching him and
introducing him to the world of theater.
Terry
Smith (Hank
Hrivka) has
appeared inRossum'sUniversal Robots and in A Question of Guilt at North Olmsted's Old Town
Hall. His favorite roles include Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet, Frank Haynes in Tainted
Justice, and Robert in Proof. He also has appeared in movies filmed in Cleveland including The
Avengers, Take Shelter, and Kings of Summer. Terry's other interests include playing piano and
tennis. Terry lives in
North
Olmsted with his wife Erin. They have four boys, including Charlie who joins his father in
Eubank!
Meet the Production
Crew
Nathan
Kowalsick (Tech. / Sound) is the owner/operator of Western Reserve
Landcare, Inc. He is a graduate of OSU with a degree in Landscape Design and Technology. At Fairview High
School, where he graduated, Nathan was stage manager for such productions as Hello Dolly, Annie,
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Sound of Music and As Good As It
Gets.
Chris Graham
(Props) as a young child,
heard of these
“plays”
his dad was in and as he grew up he learned about the plays and decided he loved them. So when he heard his dad
say “Son, do you want to help in this play called Eubank?”, Chris answered “I thought you would never
ask!” The Dover Players are happy to have Chris join us and he is now known as PG, or the Props Guy.

choreographing for over ten years. His
work has been seen on professional stages as well as schools, churches and other community events. He loves
using his gifting to share the world of dance with both professional and amateurs on the stage. When he's not
dancing up a storm, he is the Family Pastor for Renew
Communities
in Berea, a husband to Melissa and father to his three kids, Gabe, Eli and Selah.
Marilyn
Ransom (Assistant to the Director / Box Office / Refreshments) is also working behind the scenes, in
addition to her role as Clara, helping director Jeff Campbell and coordinating efforts at the box office and
during intermission.
Bill
Royse (Playwright / Music) is presenting his second original musical
at Dover Players. The first was the successful SHAPE! which appeared to sold out audiences in 2010.
"Life begins at 80": Since becoming an octogenarian, two musicals and a novel (Heir Pressure) have
been written by Bill. It has been his real pleasure working on EUBANK with director Jeff Campbell, who

DIRECTOR’S
NOTES
As MAMA
would say, “You never know where Life’s road will lead you, so ENJOY the ride!” Finer words cannot be
spoken. I was reminded of that recently when one of the cast members (you have to guess which one), said to
me, I remember seeing you as a Freshman in High School and you were a Senior on stage singing “King TUT” as
Steve Martin. It is an amazing small world.
The road
to the WORLD PREMIER of the play EUBANK, has been a FUN ride. I cannot say thank you enough for all
the people who helped make it possible and forgive me if I have forgotten anyone. First, Bill Royse for
writing the basis of a great “Family Friendly” play and then just turning it over to me and saying “Go for
it,” Greg Lavelle for being my coach and advisor, Mark & Linda Little for being my “Wingmen” and filling
in the details, Beverle Martindale & Todd Evangelista for Dover Players and having them allow me to
Direct the play, John Hastings for the use of the Bed, Josh Landis for making songs come to life on stage,
Jessica Campbell for being my sounding board with the re-writes, to Nicky at www.improvaudio.com for making the songs sound so great, Mom and Dad, who
always supported me (Dad I know you are watching me on this one), my son Adam, who coached and helped me
with the play and took time out of his CSU theatre schedule to be in his dad’s “little play”, and my
Fantastic Cast and Crew, for without them this would not be possible.
I would
especially like to thank my wife Liz and my son Ben for being caring and understanding of needs while
creating the play and of my Mid-Life search for the meaning of life, love and the celebration of “New Teller
Windows.”
